Oscar Wilhelm Abrahamsson is a designer born in Sweden and based in Los Angeles. His work focuses on pushing the traditional boundaries of architecture and urbanism, and imagines new worlds through conflating design, research, representation, history and style. His work embodies different media such as digital imagery, line drawings, 3D prints, physical models and installations.
His work has been published in Europe and North America and his graduate thesis "In Is the New Out" was exhibited at the Selected Thesis Exhibition 2016, at SCI-Arc.
Oscar holds a Master of Architecture II from the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc) in Los Angeles and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Lund University (LU) in Lund, Sweden. He has also received education in Architecture and Management from the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona in Cerdanyola del Valles, Spain. He has collaborated and worked for several architects, most recently for Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG.dk) in Copenhagen, Denmark, and Studio of Relativity (studioofrelativity.com) in Los Angeles California, as part of the design team for a number of different architectural projects and conceptual proposals.
